Conundrum Escapes offers playful, creative, and engaging camps for kids who love games. With a focus on teamwork and fun, campers work together to design puzzles, build characters, tell stories, and challenge one another while creating and facilitating their own games. Led by experienced educators, gamemasters, and puzzle designers, the camp blends STEM design principles with self-expression, giving campers a unique opportunity to create new worlds and lead their peers on exciting challenges. Whether your child is passionate about escape room puzzles, board games, or role playing, they’ll find lots to love about Conundrum Escapes camps.
Schedule and booking
Summer camps are offered by the week. Full-day camps run from 9 AM - 4 PM and half-day camps run from 12 PM – 4 PM.

About the organization
Conundrum Escapes
Conundrum Escapes offers escape room and team-building experiences along with game-centered camps for children and teens. Storytellers & Leaders is part of a research project in collaboration with Christy's research team at NC State University.
Our camps are led by Christy and Steven, co-owners of Conundrum Escapes. Christy is an NC State professor of educational psychology and has been working with children and teens in camps and workshops for more than 20 years, including 5 years as the director of Conundrum’s Escape Room Camp and 4 years as co-director of Pass The Mic Camp hosted by Wake County 4-H and #PassTheMicYouth. Steven has 30 years of experience running tabletop roleplaying games and works as a professional game master in addition to designing escape room games at Conundrum for the past 8 years.
