Youth Camps at Heartward Sanctuary invite campers into a creative world where movement and storytelling come alive. Set in a rustic, renovated barn with open-air charm, along with nearby outdoor spaces, the camp offers a unique environment that feels both grounded and imaginative. Flow arts equipment, open floors for dance, and flexible creative spaces encourage exploration, expression, and play. Each day blends physical activity with artistic discovery. Campers might learn hoop, aerial silks, or poi, then shift into expressive movement, tumbling, or guided dance. Storytelling and dramaturgy weave throughout the experience, as campers explore myths and cultural traditions from around the world and bring their own stories to life through movement and performance. Group activities foster collaboration, while quieter moments allow for reflection and creative expression. Heartward Sanctuary is about connection—connection to self, to others, and to the wider world of stories and traditions. In this supportive, community-centered space, kids build confidence, deepen self-awareness, and discover the joy of expressing who they are through movement and story.
